Freedown Hills UK Olive Fed Wagyu is our own brand of wagyu and we’re super proud of it!

We’ve been the UK’s principal importer and distributor of wagyu for many years.

One thing that has always been missing from our offer is locally sourced, incredibly tasty, tender and juicy British Wagyu.

Using the experience and knowledge that we have built up from dealing with wagyu producers around the world, in 2019 we decided that the time had come to put this right.

We have developed a program that is being run for us by Warrendale Wagyu in Yorkshire with our animals being finished for 330 days on a rich mixture of local grains, whole maize silage and actual olives!

The combination of great genetics and excellent feed is producing a world class product. We are consistently achieving our desired target of marble score 5+ and the eating quality of the meat is to die for.  You get all the wagyu characteristics to be expected – the tenderness, beefy flavour and umami – but the olive feed gives the meat a beautiful lightness in the bite and on the palate that sets it apart.
